is a Professor in the Department of International Development Studies at Dalhousie University. Trained as an environmental geographer, his research and teaching interests focus on human-environment interactions, political ecology, and environmental justice. In addition to his work on CJV2, Matthew has ongoing projects examining the potential of digitization in the agricultural sector in Ethiopia and assessing the viability of farmer research networks in Uganda.
