is a graduate from Dalhousie University with an MSc in Earth and Environmental Sciences. His thesis assessed air pollution exposure, monitoring gaps, and disparities across eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada) by leveraging high-resolution satellite remote sensing imagery, spatial statistics, and GIS techniques. He also contributed to projects mapping harmful cyanobacteria blooms and soil heavy metals in Nova Scotian communities. Before pursuing graduate studies at Dalhousie University as an international student, he worked as a data analyst in Hong Kong, supporting community health services and rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions. He obtained his bachelor’s and first master’s degrees from the University of Hong Kong. As a research assistant under Dr. Kelvin Fong, his role in the CJV² project will be mapping wildfire smoke exposure and extreme heat, and examining how these affect temporary migrant workers.
