is a PhD Candidate in Marine Affairs at Dalhousie University and a researcher with the Climate Justice: Values and Vulnerability (CJV²) Lab. His doctoral research examines coloniality in global ocean governance and its implications for climate justice, labour, and ocean futures. His work bridges political economy, critical ocean studies, and governance practice to challenge dominant models of fisheries management. He also serves on the Transforming Climate Action (TCA) Research Advisory Committee, where he contributes to advancing equitable, justice-centred approaches to ocean and climate governance.
